So i fell sick today, of all days. Woke up with a slight fever and headaches came back during the day.. ... The night before was fantastic though. Alishia and i were supposed to make our/my cheese dip. lol.. We went out to buy the ingredients but as it turned out, it was too late to even get started by the time we got home from grocery shopping. bummer... Today was supposed to be d-day for cheeesy, nacho goodness... Now its postponed til next weekend. Gotta stop getting sick all the time. Time to get a move on my (planned) excercise routines. Blah.
Project section: Subject: Design Studio
Daniel's part, the helmet. Pretty cool eh? It took alot out of Joseph during the process of shaping the thing according to his head size.. lol.. We had to apply pressure to 'fixate' the shape of the wire mesh. Pretty funny to watch. But, in the end it fitted perfectly.
All these happened a week ago. In the recent meeting, we decided to work on our electronics that are supposed to be fitted into our armour. This circuit is initially made to light up upon the detection of sound. It's gonna be fixed throughout our armours as soon as we figure out how to do that. Unfortunately, it didnt end well that day. Another LED bulb fried and it didn't work as it should. It was a good experience tho. I learnt a thing or two about electronics from the 'professional electricians' of my group, Jay and Joseph. lol.

As for my part, i've been given loads of useful tips from Alishia. THANX!! hahaha.
Subject: Building Construction
I'm getting pretty frustrated about this project actually. I never knew wooden blocks can be so annoying. We have to make a structure to show solidity and arches entirely out of nothing but these blocks. What ever happened to good old LEGOs?! They were so much easier! Getting the blocks to stick with sticky, blue, tacks are hardwork especially on the arch part. Nobody said it was gonna be easy anyways. lol. The structure design has to be within an A2 sized MDF board so we can't exactly make a small model. Here's what we've got so far >>
It's a start ok!
We stopped at around 4-ish in the evening. Everyone was tired and agreed to continue on Monday. That's that. I had to bring home the MDF board. Freagin' A2 size load of inconvenience for me because i took the KTM home and it was packed with people.. I was literally hugging the board. To add alittle salt to that, my parents had to be one and a half hour late~ No seats were availabe at Kl central so i had to stand until they arrived. Sad. Next time, i ain't gonna volunteer to bring back that thing no more. lol. Unless necessary ofcourse.

the same old reasons as to why i haven't been blogging in awhile..
hah.. my college mates are overseas during this time around. Well, most
of em. I have been bestowed two weeks of holidays again. A 'semester
break', if you will. lol . So far, i've been spending my time with
better
activities than the previous two months of rotting. I've been busy with
my projects, online games as usual, and cooking.. -Recently
baked cookies with my dearest Alishia- ... what an experience~

At first we
made chocolate chip cookies. Traditional, tasty, yum yummy tum tum.... but
instead of the chocolate chip, we replaced it with chocolate rice..
turn out pretty.. uh..............

It was a good start. First time ok!

We personalized some cookies according to our initials of our names...

All was not lost.. We decided to give it another try two days later. We put alot of effort into looking for the prefect recipe.. hmm.. that's not right.... okok.. we didn't .. but we did make the next batch according to our own recipe.. modified from the old one. Instead of one type of cookie, we also made three types. White chocolate chip cookies, hazel nuts & chocolate cookies, and chocolate chip(rice) cookies.. This time around, it turned out waaay better than the previous attempt. seriously.

and then comes chocolate chip(rice) cookies.. not so good .. lol

Get this, We were supposed to decorate 4 standard poles just by using ONE A3 paper. The A3 paper can be folded or cut in any way, just as long as the 4 poles are sheltered and decorated. lol here's mine. ^
Another project involves fabricating in relation to the building we studied in the previous assignment. Group work. My group done Toyo Ito's Tower of Winds.. and so, here's our progress...
A discussion that took place yesterday. We experimented on the available materials. One member was missing..
Wire mesh. The sort-of-perfect material for our"clothes". Hard to cut, stabs fingers, sturdy.

On another note, i've been actively indulged in games too.. Pretty addictive ones, too. I just thought i'd share it with you readers (i feel like it).. and No i don't play DOTA. -_- Among them would include MapleSEA and Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction.. .. Oddly enough, both the games i play are totaly different. Maple = cute + adorable + frustrating + cute Diablo2:LOD = demons + dark + PvP + end of world try to make some sense out of that 'formula' eh..

two days ago, but as usual, i'm late.. It's not complete but here it is
anyways... I won't bother writing about the stuff i did during
the hols coz..... I HAVEN"T been doing much.... trust me, it mainly
consists of stoning in front of the computer - Mapling... I think
cobwebs grew under my arms too... (olly shet!) ... I'm actually glad
it's going to be over.. two months is just too long for me.. A lil'
longer and i might just disappear without a trace.. lol.. Days go by in
just a wink of an eye.. With maddening speed, it kills me inside,
grinding each bone with boredom and loneliness..shit.. it's killing my
whatever's left of my intelligence.. .. hmm..

went to the ArchiDEX at the KLCC Convention Centre and boy did i get a
real eye opener.. Went there with my parents btw.. sheez!.. There were loads of
stuff to look at.. stuff that i'll be involved with in the future like
new types of building materials, over view of architecture
works and projects (LOL to T.A.K. >> some Arabian
company) and so on.. It perked up my motivation to be an architect, and
I'm not just saying it. Spotted one of my college mates, Choy.. lol..
as usual, he's dedicated to his work(it's not a bad thing btw) and
looked real excited to be at the convention.. later on, i
spotted Najat, Adilah and Andrea over at the Nippon Paint
booth. They were signing up for something which i didn't really get
because i was too preoccupied testing out their "new" paint.. Najat,
Adilah and Andrea would know what I'm talking about LOL.. My dad
eventually signed up for it too.. =_______='"
